2012-2013 Call for Scores Winners!

APNM is pleased to announce the winners of it's
2013 Call for Scores Competition. We received a record
breaking number of high-quality submissions and
sincerely thank all of the composers who submitted
their music.

The winning works were divided into 2 concerts, the
first on Friday, May 20th at the Tenri Cultural Institue
and the second on December 6th and the DiMenna Center
for Classical Music.


The APNM 2012-13 Call for Scores Composition Competition

APNM's annual Call for Scores Composition Competition is open to both current APNM members and non-members. The winners of the competition will receive a performance under the artistic direction of David Fulmer (with Ensemble Pi) in April/May of 2013. Winners that are not currently APNM members will also receive an invitation to join with one year's free membership.

Please submit pieces with a duration of fifteen minutes or less for 1-5 players (see instrumentation below) without electronics. Scores and recordings (if available) must be received by November 8, 2012. For each submitted work include both an entry fee (checks payable to APNM) and an application form (see below). Include a SASE if you would like your scores returned. Scores, mp3s, and the application form may be submitted electronically with payments completed using PayPal.

flute, clarinet, violin, violoncello, piano

Application fee:
standard fee: $15
students: $10 (include proof of enrollment or school ID)

PayPal submission:
Submit electronic payments using PayPal. Please make payment to email address nina@apnmmusic.org. Be sure to include your full name, contact information, and title of the work you are submitting. We ask that users paying with PayPal include an addition $1.50 (totalling $16.50, or $11.50 for students) to cover service charges.
